It's very simple. In his pick up empty trailer task he typed in the number. OTM said "valid trailer number, it tracks at that loaction, I thought it was loaded but the customer must have just unloaded it, congratulations driver you found an mt" and assigns it.

The computer is following its logic and there is no human on the other end to say "whoa, whoa, whoa, Ms Libbey the part of the story I don't like is . . . " Once it's assigned to the driver/truck it can outgate. Security services doesn't look at the work history of that trailer.

OTM should not be able to assign a trailer "dropped relay" as an empty without a human override. On the other hand drivers should be responsible so why ask our extremely qualified and competent programmers to add the special case?

There are so many other variables where do I even begin?!?!

Short answer, I'm not even going to begin...

You'll figure it out.... Or you'll fail...

    What Sadwar said...

Plus it's not simple and straight foward.

For one the highest paying load isnt always the best load, in fact it usually isnt.
If you cant figure out why then you're starting off on the wrong foot.

Well as far as the highest paying load we don't know if he's talking about the highest revenue per mile or highest gross butt you are correct in a way that the highest dollar amount is not always the best whether it's gross for rated under there are so many variables it's impossible to go through everything on here

    Yeah..
What i was hinting at is the highest paying loads usually go to crap areas.. like Colorado, Florida etc to name a few.
I've noticed they often dont pay high enough to make up for the trash that comes out.

What also is...if load pay $3mi but has 2.5 days on it for 300no..unless it works with strategy..that load Isn't great.

Talking about load rates, here is an awesome one. Not sure if still available, but there is a Bentonville, AR to Indianapolis that pays 0.28 per mile. FSC + $50.00 line haul.

Sign me up for two of those!
