Gonna hit you with facts right quick as a new er driver nearing one year experience..

I started at a paper log company and didn't pay much attention to my by the hour pay because I got a lot of home time catching up to my logs..

When I switched to a elog flatbed company not allowing me crap for home time after six months at previous company the first thing I noticed is flatbed loses me miles as ppm driver that I noticed fast..

But one night I was at a rest area and my lighter stopped working. I was off duty but I was not free to just go up to the store or anything so I realised ok I'm off duty but this is still working.

Now if you add my last four pay checks together they make 3000 grossed income. I stay out 30 days which is 720 hours. In the 720 hours of working conditions I make 4.1 dollars an hour. Poop in plastic bags pee in cups sleep in a no idle truck I mean list goes on.

So anyhow once I reach this magical 1 year mark what's my chances of finding a better job.. next to none if i can't get into jack cooper..

As a new driver I'm going to ##### and moan till something is done to change this industry for the better. I come from a gm family a union loving family. Jack cooper is the only company I personally have encountered that stacks up to my expectations of a career company without going o/o under my own authority that is.

Good for you getting the hard time in and moving on, that is exactly what I was talking about. Willing to put up hard times for the better after around 1 year,

I have pooped in a subway sub bag.... when I had no bag I have used a pilot pizza box you do what you gotta do...

Just two nights ago I had ran out of hours waiting to be loaded once I was loaded I was not able to go anywhere. I had to poop luckily I had a garbage bag and a few napkins.. so I pinch that off use up my napkins wiping and tie off the bag for a later drop in a truck stop trash.. after I lay down and I get a sudden case of the tummy rumbles which are a prelude to what quickly pursued.. the squirts.. so I hop into action grab the plastic garbage bag and squat.. I squared for a while trying to make sure it was the last time.. I had no more napkins.. had to lose some good socks that night.. next morning I dropped them at pilot.. so yah I poop in plastic bags because I'm not allowed to move the truck.. when they make it legal to move out if you need a dukey I would but company probably still right you up since on elogs you can't even multiple stop on on duty line in same city..

Even today you can kinda get a wiff of a squirt from days gone by

If you would have said you ran ALCAN the or somethin I might have agreed. But the he lower 48 just isn't that remote you should ever "have" to crap in a pizza box Wuss. If you're doing this you're doing it by choice. Maybe plan your trips and plan ahead? Elogs suck but somethings you just can't blame on the log.

If you ever import one you'd be wishing she swam the river. Uncle Sam charges a premium for that!
