That's quite the list that puppage gave but keep in mind recruiters are busy so they probably won't be able to answer alot of questions.I would write down a short list of the most important questions.

    Puppage Thanks this.

It started off I just needed a brake then Ray is paying my bills and spoiling me big time which makes me even lazier. But I applied for a side dump driving job yesterday which starts next week so hopefully I'll be back to work soon.I would like to go otr or even regional but dad wants me home every day to care for him because of his age and health.

I did reach out to Melton today, however the recruiter was at lunch and is due to call me back tomorrow. I applied to a few other companies as well, for the few moments I was able to talk to swift they said they could offer OTR or a "comfort zone" which could be the southeast and Midwest or all states east of the Mississippi river. She basically told me to figure it out and call her back.....I have also applied with Tmc, Schneider and interstate. I would like to get into flatbedding but I think living in Florida is not leaving me with many options. I know maverick does not hire out of Florida although I see their trucks around every now and again. Thank you guys for the positive advice, I can't stand negativity.

    Kyle G. Thanks this.

Well, I called up Schneider today and was told by a recruiter since I've had my cdl so long without experience I would either have to take a refresher or put in one month at another company and jump ship over to Schneider. I think I'll see what Melton has to say, otherwise I'll probably look into a refresher if I can afford it.
