I have an 09 Pete 387 and while I'm driving down the road my A/C works fine. But at idle it starts blowing out much warmer air, anyone have some idea that I can check it as to why this is happening. I just had a brand new condensor, and dryer put on and it was recharged. Please help me it's getting closer to summer

Only thing I can suggest, did they change the orifice tube? Not even sure if your system has one. I have a '03 379, mine had a shutdown problem, turned out to be the prongs in the Hi/Side pressure switch, little tweek with tweezers and been good since.
On mine, the orifice tube is like an inline/filter on the Hi/Side mine was full of shrapnel from an earlier failure.
It's the weekend I assume where you're at, check every electrical connection in the system.
Grapeape on here is really good.

One thing most of us do in a hot climate is run the engine at around 900 RPM if we're stopped for a while. The compressor works better at high idle and if you've got the condenser in front of the radiator, the engine fan obviously is running faster and draws more air through it.

Is the compressor kicking in when blowing warm air? If not check for power coming from trinary-binery -pressure switch. It may be bad.

If the truck has a fan switch flip it on at idle with a/c on eng. fan can help a/c cool when sitting still, warm air at idle can be a sign of low freon?

Mine must have fan on at idle or compressor cuts out from high head pressure,,no problem when rolling, only at idle or stop and go traffic,,try turning on engine fan switch at idle and tell us what happens

And then there's the 'shut off your heater core' thing.

Personally I think it's a load of bs but some swear by it.

Also I insulated my AC lines. The cold side... I've been up too long to remember what one is hi/lo.

With a new condenser and dryer recently added, I bet someone didn't get a connection tight or pinched and O-ring, and it's leaking freon. I'd see if it will take a can.

I turn my heater taps off at the engine block for the summer, it only needs a little hot coolant to get in the heater core for it to be less efficient, even when the heater tap on the dash says "off". This is when you've got integrated air con of course.
You can check for too many bubbles in the receiver/ drier sight glass, that's another indication of low gas. The only sure fire way is to put the gauges on.

These new fangled KWs use a servo to shut off the core via the temp control knob. What'll they think of next.

(All too often they fail. Mine's rigged to be bypassed if necessary.)
