Yes I'm quite embarassed when I fly coast to coast first class for my several week vacations and I'm the only one under 30 in first class.

The power of Aerodynamics at work. All the smart people with money and power realized back in the late 90's that brick trucks were incredibly foolish. It's time you dinosaurs figure out what the rest of us have already known for 20 years and stop glorifying these ugly turds over the far superior aerodynamic trucks.Sweet Willie Thanks this.

We don't all measure our careers by time. Some of us who dare to do better measure it in progress. I've achieved in a fraction of the time more than most achieve in 30+ year careers. gone over 150k with grain trains in South Dakota. Ran OD in all directions all over North America. Covered 42 states and 3 western provinces with flats, steps and rgns. Got bored of that. Quit took a 2 month vacation and moved out to the mid west in my jeep middle of winter and found a bull hauling job with no experience and no contacts by knocking down doors cold. 6 months later I bought my own truck. 6 months after that got my own authority. Just locked down a new contract running back to CA every week to see family more and net another 60k a year.
So when you tell me you've been driving for XX years. All I gotta know is what have you been doing all that time? Most have been job hopping or getting ####ed by a carrier and I'm sorry, but I'm not impressed. Considering most have had 3X the time or more I expect 3X the progress or more.
