    the trucks come well equipped with a 2000 watt inverter
    mount for cb and tv
    refrigerator
    just do not lease
    go company driver learn the trucking buisness
    then decide how best to proceed
    TransAm has had plenty of North Carolina drivers
    after you get some experience North Carolina is a good place for 3-4 good companies
    such as Abilene and Big G

    Yep, I live 70 miles east of Rocky Mount NC and they got me home. Problem is you might deadhead many miles UNPAID. You might be better off. They have drops at Food Lion in Dunn NC, Walmart DC in Henderson NC, BILO in Greenville SC, Food Lion in Salisbury NC. Hope this helps, and what Cranky said, DON'T lease. You'll never afford to be able to go home!!

    I would consider Cargo if I could get the home time I read some people get. Hampton Roads isn't in the hiring area though.

    cool cool, ain't no way they gonna get me to lease.. maybe in 5-6 years, no way in hell right now. Figure ill give Trans AM 2 years unless i do something stupid and get fired... hope not..

    How do you like the All Auto's? I think the only 2 things that have me worried is them shifting like going up a grade and like in Snow or Ice...

    auto's have come a long way from all the bad report days
    I have driven 500000 miles in autos over every hill between either coast
    across WY once a week for 2 years
    never had a problem
    only lost traction once and that was this winter in PA
    of course it was the middle of a 3 foot snowfall
    the plow truck came along threw down some cinders and i proceeded along

    After training, will they try to route you by the house to pick up the rest of your stuff? idm being out for a few months at the time, i just don't want it to be 2 months before getting it.. can only take soo much on that greyhound.
