Dang that thing must pull some watts. My black & decker 4 cup works just fine. The inverter on the idle is supposed to a 1500.

Wow. That's the problem I want to avoid. I would prefer the idlefree would just mainly be for the heat & a/c.
-
The idle free system is for a.c. only but, it has a inverter they share the power provided by the battery pack.
For heat when not idleing there is a bunk heater under the bunk. I want to say they're espars but could be wabasco.RStewart Thanks this. -
Cool. I guess this system will work for a year then it will be time to upgrade.
-
Anybody have problems with the Idle Free A/C not cooling?
-
Nope but if your having problems you
might need to have the Freon recharged.
Idle free units have there own, does not run off trucks Freon.
If you go on the idle free web site you can see where you can get it serviced not very many places do.Pork Chop Express Thanks this. -
Does it turn on at all. I had the issue where it would cool from 10 min to an hour then trip the overload breaker if it's doing that it's most likely the fan switch like mine was.
-
It will run all night, just won't blow cold air.
-
I would try to get it to DFS in Green Bay or NC.
