Doing a 34 at the Memphis terminal. Leaving out tomorrow morning. Instead of sitting in the lounge listening to everyone complain (or watch basketball), I decided to walk over to Graceland, being the huge Elvis fan that I am. Did that once before, 5 years ago. The difference there is that was 5 years ago. I was younger, in better shape, and didn't have the problems with my feet that I have now. Looks like that was my last trip to Graceland for a while!

Petro, Armadillo, TX. Pulled in to get some fuel at the Dancing Eagle and what a mess. Every island blocked and only one truck getting fuel. A couple that were waiting decided that instead of getting behind someone they would just block all of the lanes, and all of the trucks, trailer plate was CA. Finally pulled behind someone and he decided that he was going to just finish his 30 minute break there. Indian and CA plates. Then when getting fuel the island next to me was OOS and watched a European out of Chicago just move the barrel so that he could pull in and wash his windows. Of course someone else pulled in behind him and the maintenance guy had to go and place the barrel behind the truck and the other driver was pissed. Over heard the maintenance guy comment to the one driver and he just told him 2 words.

Hopefully, they are better than the ones at the Central Term in WVC, UT. While at the hotel the night before they are scheduled to go out with a trainer, they drink out of 5ths of alcohol, plus they use the open toliets in the showers, then don't bother fo flush them after taking a dump.
Scum, bottom of the barrel low class scum. that's the new drivers. -
So it's no longer Plus One and now Max Out?
-
Stuck in Milwaukee, WI after a show load from Portland, OR, to the arena here.
Whats Max Out? -
The new name for Plus One ... Posters all over the place at Inver Grove explaining Max Out ... get an extra 6 hours a week to run miles, by following Max Out.

Okay, thanx.
I don't go into terms much. To me it doesn't matter what kind of gimmick some white shirt bean counter comes up with. Trucking will never be what it once was, not until we throw out congress, laws and the other micro managing crap rules we are forced to live under. -
First that I have heard about this and my terminal is IGH.
Here at the T/A in Mt. Vernon, MO. Looks like tonight is a night that bunk heater is not needed. Now having issues as far as home time. Put in request for the 21st and was told that need 12 days. Left the house on the 4th and as far as my subtraction, the 4th to the 21st, more than 12 days. Called my DM and for some reason the system has me coming out of the house 3 days ago, when I was in Casa Grande. Even he was not able to go into the system and fix it and put in my home request. Computer glitch. -
I'm just west of Parachute, CO at a little place. I deliver in Grand Junction tomorrow.
It was fun getting here, and I'm glad I left today instead of in the morning. There is a winter storm that is just starting to hit, but it's nice down here.
The snow started just about at the tunnel. It was thick a few times but nothing was really sticking to the roads. I-70 was closed at Vail Pass due to accidents as I was getting near, but was open again when I got there. I did have to sit still for about 30 minutes as traffic cleared.
I had a nice home time during the past few days. Yesterday I took the family to Boondock's. I love that place.
We played Laser Tag a couple times, and our team won by a large margin both times. During the first one I had the high score, by a huge margin. I couldn't believe it when I saw it - nearly 6,000 points. It is an all time high, even though some people in different games scored 3 times that. I'm glad they were not against my team, or even on my team. It's nice to be top dog every now and then.
Between the laser tag, bowling and racing I was totally hurting when we left at 2230.
I haven't heard about Max Out yet either.
It seems just another gimmick, much like Plus One but only a different name. They both tout the same thing, after all. A few more driving hours per week, even though we have a set amount that we can work with.
I, for one, won't be changing how I run any more than I did with Plus One. I hate taking 34's. -
Max Out is the posters I saw at the IGH terminal ... the whole process is identical to Plus One ... looks like it's just a rebranding.
