I currently have a fontaine no slack 2. It has a riser under it on the slider. With tall rubber my current fifth wheel height is 53/54"
I'd like to lower that down a bit. I have a line on a fontaine low profile fifth wheel, slider included.
I want to know if I pull off my whole slider top: will the new one bolt right down?
That is: are the bolts running from slider to frame all the same on this brand?
Hope I'm wording this so it's understandable lol

I would think the frame mount hole pattern would be fairly standard...even across manufacturers.
Ruthless Thanks this. -
I just got pics...I think it actually has the whole frame mount as well....
$100 all in, hard to go wrong I guess.wore out and Straight Stacks Thank this. -
Dang...for that price, I'd be wondering what's wrong with it. Hopefully it's in good shape...
Straight Stacks and Ruthless Thank this. -
Kinda what I was thinking...said it got pulled off for a dump conversion and it's been sitting in a barn. This guys clearing it out....
Like I said: for $100 hard to go wrong -
With that story, it's worth a shot.
Ruthless Thanks this. -
For $100, drilling holes isn't a big deal IMO.you should be able to sell that high rise and make a little cash for drill bits.
Ruthless Thanks this. -
I wasn't planning on selling my high rise. Case things change in the future..

True, the way you go through trailers, an RGN is bound to show up eventually!

Always crank the trailer landing gear up until the weight of the trailer is on the fifth wheel then finish hooking the trailer because if you have a trailer that's too high your trailer might release Will release going down the road
