all in all I think there are two sides to ever coin and the trueth lays somewhere in the middle. but I keep in mind people are more likely to speek up when they are pissed off than when they are happy or just content.

i would like to know if any body knows of a good GPS ? do they make them for big trucks ? i am starting at werner on the 6 of aug and would like to get a good one with real time info if theres such a thing i dont know but any help would be great thanks for your time .....

 

I'm leaving in a week to go to driver training and will then be driving for Werner. I was told that after the warranty runs out on your assigned truck you can pick the make and color of your next one. Is there anyone here who was with Werner long enough to know if that is accurate or not?

 

Mine is waiting for me at the house so I don't know how well it works. I ordered it from teletype. It is a self-contained unit rather than a software program for the laptop. It cost about $419. It says it is specifically for truck use. I heard it was good.

 

hello everyone well thanks for the input about the post i posted a day ago i think i will just go solo and forget the team and my CHILD hood friend i dont need no trouble with no DOT B/S with him & his habbit it seems that if he wanted to stop and earn some $ he would not Need to bring in some substitute urine that tells me one thing that he is still smoking so off to werner i go and i hope all goes well with the training i want to thank all who gave there input stay safe out there...........

 

Best of Luck Gasoline Alley. Please keep up and post how things are going with Werner. I am starting CDL school Monday 8/11 and they (Werner) recruit there and I am keeping all my options open as far as an employer goes.

Dreamer someone has definetly lied to u. there is absolutly no truth to that statement at all. WHEN u r ready for a new truck,it wont really be a new truck,just new to u.U'LL get a truck someone has already driven and the problems they had w/ the truck until u some how luck up in a few years or more and receive finally,a new truck. MAYBE.

 

IROCUBabe, in my old career field a soild yellow meant approach, lol. I'm getting excited about getting into school and getting out there. Your posts and the positive posts here have really turned my decision to Werner. I wanted to go May but I feel I can get garaunteed miles with Werner and I have the chance to go into flatbeds. Which is what I would like to do.
