Those days are over! Sometimes maybe "Dancing With The Green Fairy", but right now I'm relegated to betel nut. Wow, those wild Navy Daze in the Orient were great at the time during the Vietnam War. Have you looked at the "Betel Nut Beauties" on Google?

It's always the Newbie section that gets the lengthiest replies. Wonder why.

Being as paid schools is out for me at this time I didn't look into it, but there are a few companies that will reimburese some of your cost once you go to work for them, but that will require a 6 month to 12 month comittment. Which since. Job hopping is frowned upon it's best to stay with a company for at least a year anyways.

And your school will have recruiters stopping in anways. And also a job placement to help you get a job once schooling is over -- talk to the school for more info. Long as you apply yourself youll probably have 10 job offers before you are half-way done.

Is there an issue when starting with a company to have some paychecks not show up on time?

You could have what you would call a short week. Say your payday is wed to wed, and your run dont deliver til Thursday. What you drove on that run before delivery wont show up on your current check. Plus they have receipt drop boxes, forget what they are called and if u dont get your paperwork turned in in time it might affect you. Basically 24 hr mail boxes at truck stops.

Direct deposit, only way to go nowadays

Good post. Get the paperwork submitted in a timely manner otherwise that trip pay may show up on the next weeks pay. You'll still get paid, but if your paperwork is late, your pay will be late.

Chinatown I have seen tour posts to thousands of responses and you are generally spot on...do you have this weeks powerball numbers... I am willing to only take 10% split after taxes...
