Cheaper than a service call if it doesn't fire back up. I've had a battery less than 6 months old explode at a fuel stop when I hit the key to re-fire the engine, and I've had a 2 month old battery call it quits causing a large enough drain on the other 2 batteries to cause a no-crank situation.
Sure, it doesn't happen very often...but it CAN'T fail to start if it wasn't ever shut off to begin with.Schoob, 12 ga, darthanubis and 1 other person Thank this. -
Hmmmmmm...ok lmao ..it's hysterical that some of you cry about being broke ...cant shut the POS off when it's 45 and into the 20s at night ? It probably don't belong on a public highway.
8thnote and darthanubis Thank this. -
These are also the same guys complaining about fuel costs I'm sure
Balakov100, Starboyjim, darthanubis and 2 others Thank this. -
Only time I shut my truck off is when I fuel up, I'm back at the shop or parked in town. Other than that its running. Sometimes I'm 50 kilometers or more out into the bush. Not taking a chance with my only way home not starting.
