Why do people needlessly idle ?

We leave our dump trucks and other equipment idling all day because... Taxpayers pay the fuel bill and we all know that means it's free...Right?

LOL Another good one.

We have our TV on in the bedroom 24/7,.. we started that about 7 - 8 yrs ago. Not sure how it happened,.. but difficult to fall a sleep with out it it now.

My wife accidentally set sleep timer on the TV once,.. it turned off and I woke up immediately to darkness and complete silence.

I grew up in the city,.. I'm used to hearing sirens, cars, loud things at all hours of the night. Crickets and frogs actually keep me awake,. LOL

I tried turning off my tv when I'm going to bed and all I do is toss and turn.Some think because they can sleep in silence or they can sleel when it's a certain temp everyone should.

 

When I was in the Navy at sea I went to sleep with the sound of jets in tension two levels above me.

 

I see now what I'm dealing with in here anyone that can watch TV much less have one going 24 7 is insane the problem steams from never taking in new information so your little tiny brains keep turning the same information over and over again and it is this that makes you want to distract your thoughts. Try listening to a book b4 bed who knows you might even learn something and the new information will be pleasing to process.

 

I'm not from Oregon I don't live in Oregon now I work out of Oregon. I own a house on Shasta lake in Northern Cali and I stay with a gf in Boise

 

I read books with the tv on.
