    Some people do.

    Brake and break, same thing.
There, they're and their. All the same thing.
    Just like 0 and O.

If it looks and/or sounds the same, it is.

Two years ago, I was following a pickup pulling a flatbed back from the scrap yard. He didn't bother to clean it off, every bump in the road crap went flying. From the time he pulled out in front of me, until I got him stopped, more than dozen bolts, nuts, etc. struck the front of my tractor, busting my windshield, cracking a headlight, my road lamps and damaging some 4 wheelers. When I got the guy stopped and exchanged insurance info, we found out the insurance was expired. State patrol was called, they called the guy at his office (he was the head of maintenance for a sugar processing plant) gave him a choice, he could come back to the scene of the accident voluntarily, or they could bring him back in handcuffs. He hung up on the trooper, I followed the trooper to the plant, pointed out the pickup and trailer, I seem to recall there were at least 4 tickets and a set of handcuffs involved in the outcome.

That is because truckers are a stubborn bunch.
They never leave well enough alone.

Always have to push that extra inch, right off the cliff.
