Two of my biggest fears also, man. The trailer and the catwalks are about it for me. Blood? heck no. I carry smelling salts WITH ME just in case of such an instance. 6' 220# wimp LoL. You aren't alone there, bro. You described ME to a T ~!
Why do people needlessly idle ?

Guess I need to question that statement.
You are, like everyone else here, certainly entitled to express ones opinion ... But...
That is not what is happening here...
You ask a loaded question that already has a certain level of judgement with the word "needlessly" and then judge others because their response is not in lock step (yes... used intentionally) with your world view.
I am a newbie steering wheel holder here myself, but I find myself siding with those you call the old time truckers.
And finally, why, just because you express your personal world views, must others be expected to bend to it? Just the other side of the argument that you make about being expected to change professions or leave the country.
Stay Safe,

And I am fairly certain there are still States without idling laws as well... So I guess we can now safely assume there are more people with opposing views that just those participating in this thread... Ok, we settled that part... LOLMudguppy Thanks this.

4. Allergies too...
At home, I much prefer to sleep with the windows open and get some fresh air... But if I do that, then my wife wakes up with a headache and other symptoms due to her allergies... So I can't sleep with the windows down and when she comes on the truck with me, those allergies will come with her too.DsquareD Thanks this. -
Well, that isn't appreciated. So now, you can read this thread, without responding.Grijon, Dye Guardian, bzinger and 6 others Thank this.

Silly question... Neither one has a fuel tank large enough to idle all night... I would never get enough sleep if I had to keep refueling them...
-
Now who is being judgmental and intolerant of others and judging others for what they are doing ... in their own bedrooms... Scary.

And you know he would have to be the Chairman of the HOA... lol
No mowing your grass without first verifying that everyone within a three block radius is not taking a nap... lolLast edited: Mar 21, 2016
