staying out 6 months? Yikes! good luck on that so for staying out for that long how much will you make? If I you I would beak down the daily pay see if its worth it. Being new to trucking it sounds easy staying out that long. doing resets at truck stops gets old fast. Good luck! hope everything works out for you.

This post needs to be stickied. Brilliant analogy.

Seems some newbies get starry eyed at the "earning potential" of a "fleece" purchase program. I have three words for you:

    Negative Settlement Check

That is my goal. I would rather do that then to waste money on a place that I would only be able to go to 4 days out of a month. And my girl will be me. Whats better than getting paid to see the country and getting laid during the process.

Two people riding around in a lightweight truck for six months without going home yeah sign me up. Or you could lease fresh out of training just to get a condo, and that option actually sounds a lot worse.

If you take company truck it'll be a lightweight. Two people in one of those one and of you is defiantly going to have to be on top of the other most of the time due to lack of room. But I guess that could work out to your benefit tho. Have you seen the lightweight's to try to get an idea of how its going to work with two people?

If I had a tnt trainee on my truck and they started disclosing personal details like #'s regarding my businesses finances on a public forum I don't think I'd look to kindly on it.
