Got to shipper and learned that this load which was presented to me as a single stop load is a two stop and I have no idea when or where the final is except it's in Savannah GA. Sent for info half hour ago and so far no answer.

    SIIIIIIIIGH....

Told them I'm tight on hours and too much delay will jeapordize delivery to first stop.

Shipper is going to kick me off the property soon because they have no room.

This company is run by hummingbirds. On meth.

I like it, when you get that occasional strange delivery. Delivered 43.5k lbs of "not fit for human consumption" liver this morning. Those usually go to a pet food maker. This went to a farm, in the middle of nowhere Wisconsin, that raised a very special crop....... minks. 6000 of them.can anyone say fur coat????

Well turns out Celadon didn't screw up, the loader had his info wrong. It's all going to Atlanta. We're moving out in a short while. Tight tight tight tight tight tight. But I think I can do it.

Did a nickel today, shut down while parking is available. 432 miles to receiver, due 1400, head out 0530. Should be fine.

Earlier today I had to brake kind of hard to prevent a collision with a mouth breather who decided to just STOP on the freaking interstate. No damage to tractor or trailer. The cargo didn't fare so well. Heard an expensive sounding crash from the trailer. Pulled over--sure enough, vodka is pouring from the front of the trailer. The pallets weren't wrapped.

Called claims, they made customer aware and told me to keep rolling and they'd assess damages when I get there.

Gotta call safety tomorrow. Oy vey.

Oh, that sucks. Can't believe that stuff wasn't shrink wrapped. Sadly I do believe some idiot stopping on the interstate.

I'm hoping the fact that it wasn't wrapped lets me off the hook. Got no time to be charged with a preventable either.

    We'll see.

Pallet wrapping is the shipper's JOB! I'm presuming this was a pre-loaded, pre-sealed trailer? As in, no chance to see if the freight was properly secured (like wrapping the pallets in shrink wrap PROPERLY!!)?

With all due respect to your current carrier, Capt., this one goes back on the shipper and the loaders for failure to properly do their jobs. I can't even begin to count the amount of freight I picked up in my dry box days that wasn't properly wrapped, or even wrapped at all! How FREAKIN' HARD IS IT to learn the proper use of shrink wrap?

Idiots. We are surrounded by idiots. The Idiot-Pocalypse-Aggedon is upon us!
