Does anyone know if someone has a recent personal vehicle accident (at fault) is it possible to still get a cdl and get hired? I know there are companies that would make you wait a year. Is that all companies?

    Several companies will hire you.
Was the wreck alcohol or drug related?
Which state do you live in?
Your state may pay for cdl school; check with the unemployment office for those programs.

You give us so much information here! Come on, are you talking multiple fatal, fender bender/bumper thumper, or something in between. Seems to me like the seriousness of the accident would have a bearing on your question.

One accident in your POV will not prevent you from getting a CDL. However getting a driving job will depend on what happened.

Ok so i'm in a similar situation and need some help. I rear ended someone in rush hour on a 65 mph highway, I had my eyes set on a company that I called yesterday and they told me I would not be eligible for hire until it was 5 years... smh. Are there companies that will take me on and get me my cdl or even hire me with a cdl with this accident or should I stop looking?
