Well iffy news on my first post. I got a copy of my own MVR and it's is completly clean. I have applied to some companies and never told them of the DUIs. Nobody has been able to find them yet.:biggrin_2556: I have also recieved some job offers. So who knows what's going on.

I would tell them, no surprises that way. Right now the co.'s are able to be more "selective". that doesnt mean all are or that you have no chance. Some companies have the policy of "no more than one ", others just want them a certain number of years ago. Ask, ask, ask. Dont want to get there and THEN find out they think you lied or something. And like has been said, local would be a good start. Shows you drove for x number of miles/years with no problems. That goes a long way! I was young and dumb once too, that doesnt preclude you from driving. But I would advize that YOU be careful too! Just bacause they will take you doesnt mean they are the only ones who will. Dont get hooked up with a company "just because". You have a few bumps, dont make it worse by having to hop around as well. That wont look good either.

I think CRST only runs teams, not positive though. Also I went to CDL school with a guy who had all kinds of tickets and OUIs. The school had him do a pre hire app. with Werner. Werner said no problem, so he spent his money and went to school, did very well, only to have Werner turn him down in the end. It seemed he forgot to mention a couple felonies which they found later.
He couldn't get Hazmat, so didn't even try for tankers. Too bad good driver. Best to be honest.

But remember a load of boxes does not talk back or have a cell phone to call Cust Service saying what an #&#&#& you are being.
I have trained # PETER PAN bus and heard calls to cust service line
Griping about drivers from saying what a nice dress to wearing a hat.

but I do agree get all the endorsments heck my lic looks like alphabet soup T, X, P, F ( T=Doubles/triples, X= Tank & Hazmat, P= Passenger But you can"t get P without F= all pass veh ( bus, limo, etc, but NOT A SCHOOL BUS)...That F took longer than HAZMAT , 10-12 weeks a CT DMV...they do fingerprint cards & mail them in to check History.....So I coild drive a truck of Dynomite But not an empty bus till they got this back...
HUM Fed Gov 6 Days for background on HAZMAT, 10-12 weeks for bus driving.......:biggrin_2551:

Definitely be honest about having the DUI's. Just because they don't show on your driving record, they can be found. Two makes it harder, my hubby had two - 16 & 21 years ago, and there were companies that wouldn't take him either. 5 years since the last one seems to be a bit of a magic number. The other stuff you mentioned could also be a problem for you depending on what it was.
