Truckers, firms shift to compete

This section in the article is the biggest load of crap... This is what they want the people to think and basically it works... Anybody who has been in the industry long enough or has paid attention to it understand they could care less if they keep a driver or not.. 15 guys waiting to take the job... Its bad companies and thier bad attitudes towards drivers that cause most of the turnover... The good companies who treat drivers with a little respect DON'T HAVE A TURNOVER... You have to wait 3-4 years and get lucky to get on at a company like that.....

Back to the JB guy... this guy was going coast to coast with JB? I would say he had to be in a class of .00001% drivers who does that with JB.. JB loves 250-300 mile runs and makes the driver sit 18-20 hours before getting another 250 mile run.....

From all the tales I have heard, Coast /Coast at JB. has pretty much all gone intermodal by rail.
