    Sparks, NV.

I had one of the fastest live loads ever this morning. 42k of an energy drink and it took less than 20 minutes from the time I bumped the dock.

It was raining so I checked the weather radio. Snow was forecast for the western slopes, and sure enough there was snow over Donner.
Luckily it was early enough in the storm that there were no chain requirements yet.
That will change soon, if it hasn't already. It was starting to stick as I went through.
Sunny and 50 here in Sparks.

    Laredo Terminal.

Had to put the truck in the shop to replace the intake Knox sensor and also found out that I have an issue somewhere in the wiring that's causing TC to act crazy. I'll take it to KW when I get home for that one.

Got a load to Walmart DC in DeSoto tomorrow.

Well its snowing here in WVC, UT and seen online the mess of a storm heading East, at least your all warm and cozy in ElP. And yes lately, lack of freight is the song most are signing.

I'm at a little place along US95 in Idaho, about 40 miles from my final.
It's a live unload at 1400, so I sleep in late tomorrow.

Then I pick up a preloaded about 20 miles away and t-call it in Salt Lake tomorrow night in the wee hours.
That load is going to GA, to be delivered on the 26th. That requires a team effort to get it there on time, which is why the t-call I guess.
No teams in the area to pick it up?

It's good with me though, and I'm just glad not to be headed back to CA or points west of here.

Here I sit. Have a PTA of 3/24 and today planners send me 3 pplans of pu of 3/23. One I did like and counter and removed. One was a t-call in Phoenix and the other was delivery in Redlands, CA with no back up. Called my DM and he said that for some reason planners are doing crazy things. One of his drivers has his truck in Shop Status and he even got a pplan.

    Yes, crazy things.

The load I was supposed to pick up after my unload today got rescheduled to pick up tomorrow morning.
I suspect the place closes too early and I could not get there in time.
It still t-calls in Salt Lake.
I made a mistake on the delivery time for the load, it doesn't deliver until the 28th.
It is 2400 miles so I could do that easily, and I messaged my DM to see if the t-call could be removed so that I could take it all the way.

He called me to 'discuss' it.
And I just explained it for anyone quick enough to read it before I did the cut.

I would love to explain it, and I'm not sure what I am going to do at this point.
I could t-call it and have 400 miles starting the week, or I could go rogue and deliver it on time with 2400 miles come Monday afternoon.
And I can't get my DM involved other than sending a message stating my intentions.

    Anyone have a similar situation?
