Well, it'll be nice not to have to choose between the two I suppose. I wonder how it will affect pricing.
-
I wonder how long its gonna take before they design a radio that can recieve both xm and sirius programming. not to mention whats gonna happen to the radios that we have now?
-
From what I read on the Sirius website all exsisting radios will continue to work, and will recieve all of the new programming. There will be new options available in the fall. As for the price of course they aren't saying much.

Sirius, XM Complete Merger
7/29/08
squirrellsgnwild Thanks this. -
i am not liking this at all! soon it will become like free radio except you will have to pay for it. All i want is music, sports, talk. all you can listen for $12
-
XM used to run advertisements "promising" there would be no change in the channel lineup during the merger with Sirius. They claimed we'd keep all the channels we've got, with their existing programming.
Yet, they stopped playing those commercials. I wonder if their "promise" changed? As long as I get to keep Rollye James, Glenn Beck and the Fungus 53 punk music station, I'll live, lol -
I am just hoping that my lifetime subscription to sirius lets me get all the xm stuff,If so Then it really was a great deal..
-
Hope they get it all together before football season.

Would be nice to get o & a college ball, nascar, coast to coast am ,rolye james etc in one deal!
