can anyone tell me if 1.40 is decent pay to get as a lease operator who is also a Lead (trainer) driver? this equates to roughly 70% of the revenue of the truck. Also is 70% revenue the same as 70% of the load. Please no haters. Just honest opinions appreciated.

For me a Lease will be better pay than what I receive now which is 0.00 weekly.

I think $1.40 is fair compared to most lease op deals... However I doubt this comes out to 70% of load revenue... I run for 70% and always see $2.50 to $3.00 + after fuel and expenses. This is with Dry Van as well.

That really makes leasing look good. I spoke to Schneider after 1 year where I will be and I am still doing the research but leasing looks good for now.

How many days did that load tie up your truck and time? One load is not really any kind of proof. Lots of factors that could make that rate not be nearly as good or even worth your while. IMO
