    has anybody tried a VGT (he551v) from jm turbo on an isx? i am gonna have to replace mine soon and was wondering about trying one. my housings are good so i was just thinking about changing the cartridge, which holset will not sell alone.

    Can't speak for ISX but I have one on my volvo that is almost 3 yrs old. I'd definitely buy from them again. I bought the whole unit

    You can find them on line at ebay and such. Chinese knock offs with a broad coverage. I read good and bad reports, then bought local. I do not know if failures were caused from incorrect installation or quality problems. Prices are very good. Google JM turbo.

    the compressor side was leaking, that could be shaft seal. i did not open it to see inside

    Mine is an 07 volvo motor. I went with JM due to not having a core charge. They have the same warranty that the OEM does
