Not a bad company you could park truck at yard and take car home it is a small yard flats would mostly involve securement since your driving is problably good to go about two weeks or less

So they "try to get you home on weekends"? That would be a life changer to be quite honest. I may have to just stick it out long enough to hopefully go to southeastern line haul. But I don't know if I can hold out another year or more. This month at a time team operation is killing me lol.

They tell you 4 days a month guarantee but now are saying dont expect every other weekend guy running things came from usa trucking and us express if that says anything seems if you dont stay out 3 or more weeks at a time they punish you as far as miles and they decide when you go home

So it's basically the same as starter Companies. OK. Well, won't be going there then. Will just stick it out here until I can get to r&l or southeastern.

I resigned today, they dont like for you to take hometime no matter what they say, they want you to stay out three weeks minimum, now they wont tell you this but what the will do is this, hey this load has got to be in sc by 2pm eastern on thursday, this is on wed afternoon, i know you have hometime scheduled and we will get you a load back this way on friday, run thw load early thur morning 500 plus miles get it there and unloaded got hour and a half left in clock drive to flying j to shower and park for the night, other company driver who was there gets a load from ga to co cause he is single and stays out, me no load planned for Friday, they say we will have one in the morning coming back this way, friday morning arrives no load call dispatch sit tight we are looking, its a holiday ok, lunch rolls around no load, call dispatch nothing yet the whole office is looking for a load for you, around 430 pm i call and check on a load, no just head back to the yard, ok can i take truck home, no thats to far out of route, so i deadhead to yard arrive at 145 sat morning, wife drives two hours to pick me up for hometime. Now you can find an instant load for the guy who doesnt go home but cant find ine load anywhere close to me going to mississippi and then i couldnt take truck home, in other words if i would have told them i was going to stay out, they had a load thursday going to co, but since i was going home no loads anywhere and you sit til 5pm and drive all night.

Sorry to hear it didn't work out. I don't know what I'm gonna do... Got some old criminal history in 2008,2009... DUI, Marijuana possession... Both misdemeanor.. But it's hard to get out of these starter companies

I worked there when they hired that guy is when it started going downhill. Was a great company before that. Last year they hired another safety person and she told me they guarantee 2 days a month. it turned out those are not 2 full days and not consecutive. Was out 30 days with mediocre miles at best and they couldn't understand why I wanted to go home

Use to be 40 for 4' drop and 50 for 8' drop. Hardly ever tarped a load. When the dropped to 15 for everything I tarped almost everything
