    Hello Truckers,

I own the above truck and need your advise or feed back, the oil pump was damage and I had to tow it to the Garage in Columbus, Ohio, I will fix it this week and open the top engine block but did not see any shaving materials in it, so if I fix it and flush the oil for the first time, or need to do something else too.

take a magnet and run it across the top. there may be particles that you cant see. but the magnet will pick them up. you can also get one of those large magnet that they use to pick up things under water. stick it to your oil pan and if there is anything in the oil when you flush it, it will stay in the pan.
