I have my class a cdl, I've had it since 2012 where I drove mainly oilfield or construction equipment such as belly dumps, end dumps, low boys, and tankers. I'm considering trying to get a job with Keim TS because the job I have now I just don't make enough money to make it. I live in Medicine lodge KS which is one of their main reload spots at Nation Gypsum. I've heard great things about them. Didn't know if someone had some inside info. I've never been OTR and I've never tarped but I'm 26 and in shape and I know I could do it. Just would like some helpful info
Keim TS Sabetha KS?

I can't help you with Keim and I don't want to derail your thread, but I can't message you. Did you have any losses from the fire?
bullhaulerswife Thanks this. -
No I dont. Its still going though, not near as bad as it was. Farmers and ranchers are really hurting
bullhaulerswife and 1951 ford Thank this. -
That's good news. I've seen several facebook pages show up to help the people in that area. I'll now return you to your original endeavor. Hopefully somebody else can help you out with Keim.
TripleSix and bullhaulerswife Thank this. -
I've talked to a couple of their drivers and haven't found an unhappy one. I almost went with them but they couldn't promise to get me home as often as I need because of where I live.

If you get paid percentage you will never see the actual invoice...you just have to take their word for it as far as how much the load pays.
I can't believe anyone falls for that scamGarretMc23 Thanks this. -
That doesn't sound too good lol

Do you have personal experience of kiem doing this? I have no experience getting paid percentage but from what I have read you should always be able to see the rate con. If it wasn't provided I would certainly not work there. Also I would not work on percentage if I could not refuse the load based on the rates.

Copies of freight bill or other form of freight documentation. When a lessor's revenue is based on a percentage of the gross revenue for a shipment, the lease must specify that the authorized carrier will give the lessor, before or at the time of settlement, a copy of the rated freight bill or a computer-generated document containing the same information, or, in the case of contract carriers, any other form of documentation actually used for a shipment containing the same information that would appear on a rated freight bill."
That's an FMCSA regulation bub, guess they don't teach you to read at Worthless Express.Chewy352 Thanks this. -
Since you went there first-
That applies to "lessors" not employees. The Internet is your friend but reading makes you smart ......
