How did you like them when they were in your other trucks?
That sucks that they don't work in new ones. Are you sure they don't or won't have an adaptor?
I looked at these a couple of years ago for two trucks and a ford hotshot. I needed to add an adaptor (which they said they'd provide) for the older Pete and the ford but the newer Volvo would hook directly to the port.

You posted this in another thread already... no need to shotgun it all over TTR... I said I will check into it.

Rand McNally is the absolute worst , Aside from being on hold with them forever all the time and then someone picks up and hangs up , They are basically Liars...Unethical company, First deny they know about the problem, then say oh yea someone else called about that and by the way we don't plan on supporting that vehicle (Freightliner Cascadia..??? Really) , then you find out that they knew all about this change with newer tractors and did nothing....

In the support thread I posted the reply to his posts last Monday about 5:33pm. I don't see the sense in posting the same answer in 3-4 different threads.. and those are the ones I found.

When you look for info a bunch of threads pop up. Since he posted here and I've been watching this thread I expected an answer. Unfortunately I'm still no better off. As the poster said, RMN are terrible when it comes to support, in fact my personal experience over the last few years was they didn't even have time to sell me their OBR devices. Their devices have wonderful technology but as usual the hardware is garbage.
If it wasn't for your help Mark I wouldn't even be a RMN customer anymore, but since we are going to all have EOBR come Dec 2017 I am looking at every option out there.
As I'v said before in many posts, as a driver I like RMN over the other devices but when they suck this bad at customer service, sales and everything seems to be a secret, well it makes it very hard to be a customer.
So question still remains, is RMN going to keep up with the times on these OBD connectors? I'd sure hate to have went in the extremely long SIM card contract to find out its useless.

Since they posted in three threads, I answered in one. Then they jump back on another and post again. On the support thread post 2628 I answered him. He posted on Friday, I answered Monday.

Then they post again on this thread. Let's be an adult about this. If you post in one thread, I will answer in that thread, but understand the support thread is on this site to keep the multipule threads from popping up all the time. If someone is following and reading, posting in three threads and getting an answer in one thread make the user(s) confused and not seeing the results from the posted question.

I have yet to see a reply from the posted information I asked him. So, if the user has such an issue and they have the time to keep posting the same thing, why not reply to my request for information. It has been about 2 weeks now. You work with me and I will work for you. Since two weeks have passed I figured the user must not be too concerned except to keep coming back and posting the same thing they posted in the beginning.

In response to your concerns. RM is testing the cables and seeing how they need to be adapted. So PM me your Name/E-Mail/Phone number and the type of trucks you have. I will pass this up.

I do not have a time line for the modifications.

    Thanks,
    Mark
