Yes night shift. Their website says drivers need to be able to drive overnights and the posters on the Magnum thread talk about night drops and pick ups.

^^^^ This is true; I have moved around entirely too much and am paying for it now. If I hadn't gone back to Celadon (in part an emotional reaction to my parents' failing health) I could probably have been fine, but between the job count and the messed up DAC I'm outside a lot of companies'parameters.

This is one reason I wanted to make it work here. It has, however, become untenable. I'm not even posting a lot of the crap that's going on.

The driver shortage is a bit more of a churn issue (drivers moving from place to place). It has been so easy to do that I started thinking nothing of it. Problem with that is, you find yourself in a bad place and not much you can do about it. I have the offer to go to Holland, I'm taking it, I'm staying there or else going back into the car business. These past two months have been lousy with a couple decent weeks thrown in. Used to be the other way around.

Set availability time for 0800 because I was up half the night on the toilet and needed sleep. Woke up to a load sent to my truck 0600 and a load refusal on me (took too long to respond).

Called and asked about it and was told driver available times sent by the driver don't count any more because the System goes by your elogs; anything after 10hrs of and you're fair game. But I'm required to send availability times.

Thank you for confirming my decision, Celadon.

Anyway I'm due in Chattanooga Wednesday morning 0500. Grabbed breakfast and about to move out. I just don't care anymore. Hot Chick is ready to just postpone her visit (again) and come with me to Fargo if it means getting out of here sooner.

Not talking to any drivers here who are happy anymore. Met a 24 year veteran who is just marking time to retirement.

This used to be a good place to work. What the hell happened to this company!? (RHETORICAL QUESTION)

I would tell them I would not waste my time sending in availablity times if they're of no value and if they didn't like it, tough ####. If you're going to treat me like an ####### I'm going to act like one.
