I just submitted an app and just trying to see how I would do coming out the south from Mississippi.
-
Loads out of the ne are bad too..even worse than areas in the South..duddie Thanks this.
-
Waaaaaay worse than the South.. Every load I see in the NE leaving is .70 - 90 smh
-
That's why you stay within the bounds of the NE.
New England is the worse to get out of.
Right now on the string(monday-friday) I have booked..my highest paying is $2.60/mile..lowest $1.67/mile.
Now if I want to leave the NE..there's only a handful of places that will get me out at a semi decent rate.
So I tend to stay put til driven out by the madness that sets in from running up here.
Actually it's just boredom.freightwipper, 48Packard and duddie Thank this. -
Got a nice load from SC to MA that pays decent, then a little short hop from CT back to MA. From there....wezel see.....
Stanb23003 and Dogals right foot Thank this. -
I just managed to get a 2200mi run paying north of $1.60mi
Home_on_wheels, Stanb23003, 48Packard and 1 other person Thank this. -
Believe it or not there are decent paying loads up that way.
BUT..you have to be quick and a little lucky.
Most times I take a cheapy back to decent lane then head back up at higher rate..offsets the bad paying one.
New England is on my turd list..so I've been keeping clear.
I hate Hartford CT with a passion..Stanb23003 and 48Packard Thank this. -
does the weight play a role when it comes to the best rates?
