I looked at the board today and it showed a lil over 300 loads and that was all over. I will gross over 4K this week and that's running the east.

I'm planned out all the way up to Saturday So it does shows a few loads 4-5 days away.thaistick and nordrunner Thank this.
-
Could you estimate how many miles you deadhead to string your loads together. Your running the East but I'll be launching from mn. Just curious if the customers are really spread out for long deadheads. Sounds like they have a pretty large customer base throughout the US.
-
Also do you find that there are a lot of open appointments/drop and hooks? Thank you for any info.

Does interstate have health insurance for o/o?
-
Interesting. Thanks for the posts guys.
I was looking at SNI Choice, but found out my truck is too old ('99).
I have been with Landstar for 3 years.thaistick Thanks this. -
I'm pretty sure that your truck must be CARB compliant to be accepted onto Interstate Dist. I recall seeing that somewhere.
Why are you considering leaving Landstar? -
I could see that since they do so much in CA.
There are not a lot of team loads available inside of Landstar, and it is kinda annoying booking your loads. -
Interstate has team o/o's, but they are not on the freedom load board. Freedom is only solo and dry van....at this time. This info came from a recruiter, btw.

Actually, I know a few that have non compliant trucks. They just don't run California. I think they prefer you have CARB compliant for west 11, but east I don't think they care as long as you have a truck that will pass their DOT inspection.
