Flying hook, big Springs. According to my truck app, last place with parking from here to cheyenne. Signs already showing 80 closed west of cheyenne. Radar map showing storm from Kimball to rawlings. Looking at maybe corrine Friday, depending on the roads in the morning

    TA East in Denver.

After my unload I headed to the shop for some oil on the engine. After sitting in line for nearly an hour I was told that it isn't a leak, just the blowby tube.
And then my mt had been snagged by someone else, so I'm bobtail.

Dispatch said he only had 2 loads right now, both in Cheyenne.
No thanks, it's snowing too hard there.

It is snowing here now, too.

I know that I am not going to bust my hump getting to Corrine. For all I know I can start out in the morning then get over to Cheyenne and see that lovely sign, gusting winds over the mountain and shut it down again. My DM asked me to send a MAC 22, and asked him how since I do not have a clue as to what is going on until the morning. If that storm hits here then the road west of Big Springs

Holy Cow, I just checked Wyoming road conditions, 80 is closed all the way across. Dang!

Actually the only snow I got into from SLC up 15 N, was in the lower part of Idaho last night, then dry after Pocatello.

In NE mm 60ish in Sydney, theres a small Sapp Bro's, but the walmarts across the street usually has about 50 trucks parked in it. Its a truck friendly one, and usually packed when 80 gets closed.

Good luck to you all, trying to get safely past these currents storms.

as for me, to del in MT, the final is in Kalispell, then DH to Shelby, MT and a Trade Show ld going to Jessip, MD, oh boy, the furthest I've been East in yrs, how exciting! But this ld was after I kept turning down PP's just going over to WA, just north of Portland, OR. So it sometimes pays to be a bit fussy. The reason I didn't want to go to WA was because with a 45K ld and about 400 mi of it on 2 lane mtn rds. I figured there just had to be something better. Lucky for me, I was right.

I found the best, very best computer app is, www.findfuelstops.com, its great, shows every mom and pop place as well as actual mileage on trips, and some of the big boys fuel prices.

It's funny about oil leaks, I once did the same thing as you, just after oil change, lots of leakage, went back only to be told same thing, oil blow by tube. I did find out, that after oil change, with new oil, it leaks because it's clean, it doesn't have the dirt, grime, etc in it.

But I have a Detroit Series 60, with 700K on it now. And other issues I need to address. But its true, with new oil, here come the leaks. It's not till the oil gets a bit dirty (so to speak), that the leaks really start to slow down or cease altogether.

Plus I use Delvac instead of Rotella, its a thicker oil (it seems) and is a better choice for Detroits.

    Moosetek13 Thanks this.

You might also want to look at trucker path. It not only shows everyone but many that shows how the parking is if someone else is there parked and using the app. This was how I knew from the sapps in Sidney all the way to the ta in cheyenne lots already full, and this by 2 this afternoon

In Edwardsville tonight. Again. A lot full of loaded trailers yet there are no loads available. Hoping something comes up tomorrow. I'm just glad I'm not with you guys up there in Wyoming. I like snow...but not that much.

Funny how there are always those loaded trailers and nothing available. Many times it is because they are in the system but the system does not say that they need to be dispatched yet because Plus 1
