Does anyone know if there is a number to give to potential employers so that they can verify my employment as a driver for prime?

I've been giving them my FM contact info not sure if they have a certain person who deals with that though

I'm actually not even sure Prime will verify anything since technically I'm not an employee .

I found have an online employee access, you might be able to pull an employment verification letter.

    That's how it's done where I work—not prime

Yea, HR is your contact. If you FM knows you might be leaving, give him a heads up and ask if he will give you a good reference. Dispatchers normally won't hate you for wanting to run local, they will just hate you if you bail on them mid load

These days, most companies use HireRight and TenStreet to do employment verifications. Though on your employment applications you should put your companies corporate phone number in case they do not get a response from those two outlets.

Any decent company knows how to get in touch with another companies verification process without blowing it for their potential employee.

Just give them the general number, or have him pull it off your DAC.

The last guy I hired on with was small company. I called him to make sure he got the application after I sent it on this very computer. In less than 10 minutes, he had electronically verified my DAC, driving record, and CSA score. Now I'm clean, so maybe it takes less time. I was going wow how'd you do that? Your pulling my leg right? He told me the date, and locations of my DOT inspections while I was speaking with him, and I had provided him no information along those lines.

Unfortunately at the time of my application Prime hadn't put anything on my dac , I have a copy and the terminal manager at groendyke showed me the report they got , it states no driving history and lists prime as checking my dac when I first applied for them , it also shows a couple other companies that I applied with had checked it ..
My guess is a company like prime doesn't have time to send information to hire right unless it is negative information..

I'm already working at Groendyke but prime still hasn't verified my employment they sent some crap request for information form to groendyke to fill out and fax in but still haven't replied to it
