Does the fan hit only when front end is dropped in hole? I have seen some wrong installations of the bottom bushings on the rad that will cause this. Check frame for a crack behind rear motor mounts that could of been missed. Is the fan centered in the shroud?

It's attention to details my friend. I have never been known to do things fast, I've also never been known to do things twice. It's always faster and cheaper to do it right the 1st time.

Oh and for the record, I was on break when I took the pic and was playing on the internet, do have some work ethic. Now I'm sitting on my couch watching TV.

    roadmap65 Thanks this.

Ok. We got it all put back in again. All Motor mounts changed, new core on radiator, new hub assembly, new blades new springs, new bushings on everything that we can put a new bushing on. Once all assembled one of our guys was rocking the truck and then was pushing on the radiator for movement and it was all good. The truck has ran for a week perfectly fine. Just got a call, the fan is in the radiator AGAIN. This is #3!!!!!!!!!!!

Just a thought. Its been a while since I viewed this thread but are your upper rad supports running to the cab firewall or down to the truck frame? If they go to the firewall I wonder if your cab mounts are shot or the cab has too much movement in the suspension.

Will be checking this out tomorrow when we go to the truck. I thank everyone for ideas on what to look for. We do most of our own work, this has had us baffled.

Bingo! There is something in the cab or chassis that is pulling the rad into the fan.

Did you check the lower mounting location? If it's hitting more near the top, I'd be looking at the rad support bars. If it's hitting more at the bottom, verify the lower mounting. How far was the fan from the radiator (top and bottom) after the rad was replaced?
