    Here are the UNOFFICIAL, UNWRITTEN book of BC DRIVING RULES which apparently the Canadian Dept. of Immigration gives out to new Canadians.

    Keep left except to pass. -- The right lane is now the passing lane folks, everyone stay in the hammer lane unless you want to pass, then safely move to the right lane to pass, and then return to the left lane.

    On single lane highways, when you are the lead car doing 90km/hr you must speed up when a passing lane becomes available so no one else can pass.

    Street lights, turn signals, road paint, road signs all mean nothing anymore, remove said images from brain.

    That 10-15 foot gap between me and the car in front of me, I made that gap for you, just so you can squeeze into and hit your brakes..

    You forgot:

    On any two lane highway passing is only allowed on hills and blind corners with traffic coming the other direction.


    There are several others in rhe advanced edition like:

    If you're driving at 10 under the speed limit on the open road, you are required to drive at least 10 over the speed limit through any town that provides an opportunity for other vehicles to get around you.

    The proper use of a passing lane is to wait long enough to pass so that you run other vehicles onto the right shoulder at the end of the passing lane.

    I recall the News release when the earthquake hit Alaska. I was driving a 26 White with a 220 Cummins and am airlift axle and was between Moosomin and Virden at the time. That's only 52 years ago. :)

    I moved to BC from Ontario about 3 years ago now and the drivers here are nothing like back home in Ontario.

    Wild west out here. It's insane.

    Time sure flies, doesn't it !? My first truck was a 51 KW with a 220 and a 4 & 3-I sure missed not having a deep hole-had to be careful where I parked!

    I was in Edmonton a month ago and the dude at Finnigans was saying to watch for the drivers. I said I loved them compared to the ON morons on the 400 series!
