    Can the flatbed drivers tell me what company they work for...and how they get paid...i know you get paid by miles...but explain the pay for securing the loads and bonus pays you have a chance to get...

    I'm very intrest in flatbed...i like to use my hands and want to be active to help stay in shape...i don't want that standard beer belly most drivers have...:biggrin_25510:

    Hi Minus, You might want to go over to one of the flatbed threads and ask the drivers. Try Maverick, BTC, TMC etc. I'm sure the experienced Flatbedders would be more than willing to help you out. I myself am getting ready to go flatbed. Good Luck and Be Safe

    Looks like you don't respect drivers much saying most have a standard beer belly . For your information , most drivers don't drink beer while on the road . Want exercise ? Look for vans or reefer carriers delivering to grocery warehouses and ask for loads that need to be restacked .

    I was reading one of your other posts and it looks like you want flatbeds so you don't have to go to big cities or back. Better look for another job then because we go into every city, goat farm, and any other place someone needs something. We gotta back up too.:biggrin_2554: As far as pay we our paid by mile or %. We get tarp pay and it is a lot of work wrestling 150 lbs tarps that have ice all over them in the blowing wind. Flatbeds are not for someone wanting a easy driving job.
