I usually start my day around 4am...sometimes earlier, sometimes later. I like 4am that way I end my day no later than 6pm, and get to spend plenty of time with the family. I don't think Greensboro or Durham haul any containers. I believe container operations are only run out of OD special service locations.

Chicago West terminal is located in Joliet. It's only a couple of years old. I know what you mean about the one on 47th. It's so small with so much traffic.
-
I assume the only in NC is Charlotte I guess. Do you keep your truck all week or do you have to go to your home terminal everyday?
-
You park it at the yard at the end of the day. If you have to take your break on the road, you can park at a truck stop. Absolutely NOT allowed to park at your house though.

For a time OD wss looking for O/O for Intermodel in Chicago, but I haven't seen any ads in over a year, did they stop hiring O/O in the Chicago area? I still see old d in CN Harvey from time to time.

OD closed the container division in Dallas last week. Don't know why but info comes from a reliable source.

Not a lot of containers moving. I've been seeing a lot of bare tables (empty railroad intermodal flats) lately. And lots of locomotives stored.
