Move back to big rigs? You haven't been there yet...how do you go back to something when you haven't been there yet?

Just having the license doesn't mean you know what you're doing....yet....what you learned in school was just enough to get pass your license tests. Just a tip of the iceberg so to speak. Stay away too long, you minimize the carriers available to get started with...you might end up having to do a refresher period from the school you graduated from. Better check and see if this is an option from the school.

 

$20 hr. is only good if the company has an excellent benefits package. If you don't want to be away from home it will be ok.
Otherwise, choose a regular trucking company and don't waste that cdl school diploma.

 

Do you have endorsements or TWIC ID Card?

 

How about tankers? In your area they run lots of I-10.

US Food - sometimes hires new cdl grads on a case by case basis. Home every day.

Sygma Network - sometimes hires even with only a CDL Permit, on a case by case basis. Home every day.
