I didn't take it. They wanted to hire me on the night shift and move me to days in a couple months. They also have a hopper division that I could ve went days on but at the time it would've been a 3 month wait. So I got a govt job and pull my hoppers during pickin time here on the weekends

They didn't seem to.be a bad company to work for. 2 weeks vacation plus benefits. Not bad. Seemed like good people
-
I just put in an app with them. I'll see how it works out if they hire me
-
What location
-
I just told the recruiter anywhere they had an opening. I'm relocating from Mississippi

Good decision. $750 gross for a 50 hour week comes out to a little less than $13/hour, considering overtime after 40 hours.
It's my firm belief that any experienced CDL holder should not accept any driving job that pays less than $25/hour.Jonkie Thanks this. -
Only thing I know about them , is Grover is the owner . Have known him a few years , real nice man!

I just like hauling wood and chips. As long as I make enough to pay my bills and save I'll be happy
Jonkie Thanks this. -
Yeah they seemed to be fair. I was looking to drive out of the Dudley,NC location for chips and the new mill in Faison,NC for the hopper bottoms. I couldn't work nights so they offered a day position to me for hoppers. At the time it was gonna be a 4 month wait. I had applied for a fed job and got it so that was a no brainer lol
