You sure did pay for YOUR mistake. Own it.

You are the captain of the ship, no one else, now start acting like it. What you should have done is download a call recorder app and call up your dispatcher. Inform them that the conversation is being recorded and the only way to run legal is drive 50 miles to a cat scale. Watch how they tell you "hey no problem, make it legal!".

No... just something else comes to mind... when I drop a subject, I am satisfied with the advice. I may not like it, but I am satisfied... there is often a huge difference between liking something and dealing with it.

No... my dispatcher would just hang up. He did that when I tried to get him to repeat the ultimatum he made when he knew I was out of hours with a vehicle that had been put out of service(and shouldn't have been returned to service) due to a fuel leak.

I dont care. Then you just go scale it and if they tell you #### then you tell them #### back.

Grow a spine. I mean that in the most constructive way possible.

My question is then with all of the thread you complain in why are you still there?

I need to put some time and miles since my last preventable incident in november with another carrier. I am in a pickle due to that and the fact that I can't quit since it would look bad and be considered voluntary, so I would be denied unemployment, I can't be terminated since that would look worse and they would claim just cause; besides they aren't even paying into it and I would be denied....

But don't think I am not looking for a place to land my other foot before I jump ship.
