You can have your post off. hold your mail till you return by signing the form.

I'll second that. Got mine when I drove OTR. Kept it when I went local again. My mail remains locked up and secure until I'm ready to pick it up, and I can go get it any time 24/7. I don't even have a mailbox at my house anymore...no reason for it.

I just had it all forwarded to my brother's, his wifey would open anything that looked important or time sensitive.
-
I give a friend a $100 to let me use their address as my "mailing address". Then I went online and made sure that I receive as little mail as possible. I went "paperless" with my banking and paperless with my cellphone bill and I've told her to "throw everything that looks like junk mail in the recycle bin". It's for working for me. If something important looking shows up, she lets me know.
tallmon Thanks this. -
I had the post office hold it till I got home.
-
I have all of my mail come to my email address. That way I have access to my mail no matter where I am

How long will
How long will they hold it? -
I found these guys when I was a contractor in Iraq, they are a little pricey and there are many others that offer similar services but these guys never let me down and I was happy with the service.....basically you get your mail sent to them and they e-mail you when you get mail and you let them know to discard it or forward it somewhere else or they can open it and scan it so you get an image file via e-mail.
