I quit Covenant last year for a while and went solo. Solo Miles were not steady enough.

Just started again last last month. So far me and codriver are doing OK... You might ask why I came back to Covenant. Not sure why...just wanted a job where I knew there was miles and money.
    Tired of Job hopping basically.

    Muttsley Thanks this.

I'm guessing you're not with Covenant anymore. Most people quit after a year or so.

Im still here. Lol... Amazon dedicated. Due to my past criminal activities 7 and 8 years ago. I'm not able to get the kind of job I would like right now. Still out 4 weeks at a time. Will have clean Mvr in September. May start looking harder then

Sweet. Are you doing Amazon out of Chattanooga or which location?

Team or solo dedicated? I would imagine that dedicated account is a lot less stress and more consistent money $$$$?

Well it's a non route dedicated. Basically we run mostly amazon. The advantage is that if we don't get an amazon run we have a higher tier of getting other loads. So they keep us pretty busy

Its not an actual dedicated as far as location. Just means I run mostly amazon... Higher tier on other loads when amazon isn't available so we don't sit on weekends. Shorter loads though but big parking lots. Less stress indeef

I been with Covenant for about 5 months now so far everything is good except I don't like sitting a lot, not getting loads maybe I'm still new to the company there giving loads to someone whose been here longer. Communication is the biggest issue here as well but over all company is OK there is no perfect company

Miles are down this year vs last year. The reefer division is your best bet when it comes to getting more miles

Its a bad time of year not to mention like rpad said, they are down as a whole. Industry wide right this moment. As some folks like to praise Obama for lowering the gas prices even though he pretty much has nothing to do with oil prices. I guess you can argue he sort of did with letting Iran back in the oil game, but it's effecting all of us. Owner operators are coming out of the woodwork and oil tanker drivers are also stealing our dry van and reefer loads. So for that I'll say. Thanks Obama
