What state are you going to buy the farm tag in?

Missouri

I am looking at similar problem. One issue is going out of state. If you will be going out of state much you might decide you need apportioned plates and an IFTA card. Call the port of entry for the states you might be going to and ask what permits you will need if you show up with farm plates and cost. It's all about who gets the fuel tax.

In Arkansas there isn't a millage limit. Anything over a hundred miles you must have a log book. Fuel and trip permits were available if out of state. We still have to have the 750k minimum liability. Also if less than 7500 miles a year no 2290 Missouri may be different can't say
