looks like good working conditions and plenty of help. Always enjoy working on stuff with the right equipment makes a hard job easy.

So how long to get the bearings, no one local has them? I have had good luck with bearings usa. They sell belts to.

Yea, the guy I'm leased to let's me use his heated and cooled shop as part of our deal. My plan has always been to do my own wrenching and so far I have paid 0 labor to someone else. I help them with there equipment when I can too. If I have to buy tools to fix something I donate them to his shop. He only charges %10 to lease on to him but the value of the shop is a huge plus!

I live in a town of 3k people and there is a bolt place here but it takes 7 days or longer for them to get stuff. I try and buy stuff I can wait for or they carry in stock but they don't have much urgency. I have to drive about 45 min to a dealer or a Walmart for that matter so you got to make sure you get what you need when you head in.

I have also got into the habit of ordering off line seems you can get a better price typically and you usally don't have to wait so long. I ordered a set of brake drums locally and they were supposed to be here yesterday but missed the truck so now I have to w a it until Monday afternoon.

Update...... At about 21k miles since I started. Since the last update no real problems. Did get my own base plate for this year. Replaced 1 set of speakers. Got a maxi mount for my tablet. 5th wheel still holding well. Replaced 2 slack adjusters on the trailer.
Ordering parts for my homemade APU instal when I get a few days through the house.

Alright almost got what I need:
image.jpg image.jpg Got this stuff at the house and the gen will be here Monday. The inverter is a 2500watt with a shore power swich and a 3 stage battery charger. I have a load on now I have to leave on Sunday with. image.jpg
Hoping to have another good week this week, So I can take a few days the week after to instal. I'm sick of trying to keep up with ice and empeting the water out of the cooler. I think I picked up a new direct coustemer this week. Sent them my info today and I'll call them on Monday to confirm.

    Remember the 1/2 fender I didn't like? image.jpg image.jpg
It lives no more and made a mess out of my tires but they will live. Have no idea what happened? Got out to deliver and the fender was sitting on the tire and the bracket was missing?

Got in my old company truck today to move it around the yard. Sure is comfy and quiet now that I have been driving mine for a couple of months. Lol
I'm glad I got what I got and will stick with it For the foreseeable future.

    Good luck rr84

Time to fix the 1/2 fenders. image.jpg
Now they match on both sides.
The 5 th wheel slop was still there although not as bad as it was. It was driving me bananas. Found a new take off at the local KW dealer for $625. for image.jpg
The steering wheel tape fix was starting to leak "sticky stuff" as the weather gets warmer so.... On with a new wheel image.jpg
Found another matching catwalk panel at the local scrap yard for $5 so throug that on as well. image.jpg
Got my generator in and rested out. Fired right up and ran smooth. Plan to take a couple of days at the end of the week and get my homemade APU instaled. image.jpg
