What difference does that make if you can't even "get it up" for the ugly beach.

She's all hot and ready for you @Jonkie ;)

While I've never driven one, the dd15 seems to be one of the better engines out there. If I was going to be an ic I would buy the lone mountain spec Freightliner for the simple reasons of reliability and fuel mileage. I've driven fast W9's and 379's and would drive them again. But I know the future of this industry is in efficiency, and those buying big hoods will be cry once they realize fuel is not staying @ $2. I have read good and bad about the paccar, you've been in the shop a couple time for little things, how much downtime has it cause you so far?

    Jonkie Thanks this.

W9s and 379s are not areo trucks. T680 for example is which plays a factor.

Biggest problem i had was my clutch failed at 30k miles, not Kenworth related. It was an Eaton failure.

Now i just had a sensor related to my turbo fail, caused check engine light and sometimes a loss a power. Not a big deal, i could still drive but it needed to be fixed.

Also had a "wreak fuel pump" early on, I didn't notice it but Kenworth dealer said it was related to a check engine light.

I've yet to be broke down on the side of the road or anything like that thankfully.
No truck is perfect, not this Kenworth either.
I've been broke down countless times in my company freightshakers.

Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one that feels this way...
Yes a truck is for work yada yada yada BUT my butt is living in this truck 24/7 for weeks at time!
No matter if you lease a Freightshaker or Kenworth the payments are close to the same...

    Does comfort matter anymore?
It does for me... a lot!
I'm living in this thing... more so than my house x10!
I'm not going to be paying nearly the same price to be living in an ugly uncomfortable truck. Nope.

    Aint that right @T_TRUCKER.
    Hows your truck doing?

    Friday and T_TRUCKER. Thank this.

I know the big hoods aren't aero, and I know you have a 680. I posted that because of the guy busting Jonkie about his choice of truck, telling him to buy a hood in his price example. I was told the 680 was small inside :dontknow:
When I start this week with the new company, we are getting a Cascadia, so I guess I will find out if I like them or not after all.
