Almost passed the written test

If you have the money pay it.
If you don't, you gotta pay with a year.

 

Talk to CTL Transportation about paying for your school. They're based in Tampa.This company did have their own school somewhere in Florida, but don't know if they still do or not. They may pay for private school; call and ask.

 

Try that one first and if it doesn't work try MCT Transportation. They're out of Auburndale.

It you have the money or good credit to get a student lost,i would attend a college.But if you do attend a driving school make sure do you plenty of research.Schools have recruiters like motor carriers do and their job is to sell you the opportunity no matter what and there are plenty bad schools out there.It brakes my heart when students come on here paid good money for a school and didn't pass because they received very little schooling.Also most the trucking companies do reimburse for the school up to a certain amount and if that company recognizes the school.

 

Most companies that hire and also trains new drivers also require you to go to trucking school.

If the question is should you pay out of pocket or sign the contract, read and understand the contract before you make that assessment.

As far a I am concerned, the best way to get the CDL is study and take the tests on your own and avoid school if at all possible.
