They changed the student pay. They pay .25 per mile for all miles the truck runs. Not a set amount per day anymore. Should be easier to get your miles in that way. Pay should be better too. I run ga regional. Regional is home every weekend unless you want to stay out. Keep in mind that may mean you get home sat morning sometimes if you don't have the time to make it home Friday.

Where do you get your info? Or are you just pushing poly? Let me guess, MILLIS fired you or wouldn't hire you.59EX Thanks this.

Yea I'm looking to go regional out of Eden North Carolina. How many miles you getting what states are you driving to?
-
Nc regional may be different. But there are guys up there who run on the ga board. I average between 1900-2400 miles most weeks and I almost never run weekends. Maybe once or twice a year before I take a vacation to bump up pay. Ga regional usually stays in nc sc ga al ms and fl. Occasional long runs out of area (they ask for volunteers) As well as tn and va.59EX Thanks this.

Poly does want a cracker.....WisconsinF150 Thanks this.

You don't have to live in ga to be in the fleet. Ga is just the center of our freight lanes down here with shaw, Budweiser and Miller and two terminals in ga.

Oh ok cool I'm looking forward to driving for them everybody I've spoken to say they are a great company to drive for and nobody bothers you while you driving and they pay decent I'm good with that
-
They are good but remember there is no such thing as a perfect trucking company. Everyone has their pet peeves. Pay is good. They don't bother you unless you are messing up. Never been lied to, a rare thing in this industry. I left MILLIS and did local for about 2 1/2 years and came back about 6 months ago. They called me same day I applied to come back and asked me when I wanted to start when other companies were giving me a hard time about being local and saying I had no recent otr experience. But that's a whole other story.

I don't expect a perfect company nobody can sell me that fairy tale I just want decent checks lol.. I do want to go tanker down the road and I want to do OTR to make myself more hirable if I choose to more on
