I've read this dude's posts about millis when I was researching them, he's had a hard on for them for years.

 

Yup, I made #### good money considering I was a trainee. It has to be the best paying trainee program in the industry at this point.

 

How long ago was that?

 

Regional counts as otr for most companies.

Only reason I didn't do tanker when I worked local was tanker companies worked weekends and pulling doubles I had weekends off.

 

December/January 2016. First class that was under the new program.

 

Yea I heard about that too I got friend who brother drives for tri Mac making close to 70,000 a year but he has been there 3-4 years now. Give me 60 no weekends I'm good lol

 

I'd still be pulling doubles but freight slowed down and I was low on the seniority ladder so I wasn't making any money.

 

Yea he was a patient man the first two years was average but eventually he got an opportunity... Which pay method did you choose the per diem or the other pay method?

 

I was straight pay last time. I tried per diem when I came back last year but I'm thinking of switching after a year.

 

Something you guys might want to check into is I heard that Millis has or is losing their account with Miller Brewery out of Eden NC. If that's true it could make an effect paycheck wise on you guys going the southeast regional route. Not starting trouble. Its something to ask your recruiter or do a google search. good luck drivers.
