Sweet! That would make me happy. I'm willing to work towards that and that's why I started with my original question. Even if I did a lease purchase for 90 days. 12 weeks and I averaged 300 more a week than I would as a company driver that 3600 dollars saved I wouldn't make otherwise. 180 days is a nice down payment. I was only trying to figure out if that's wishful thinking and I'm going to be making -14 dollars or if it's doable. It's hard to sort through

You have to be careful on the lease though.
You just don't want to get into a situation where you turn the truck back in and they hold your settlement for 45 days and then start finding all kinds of reasons not to give you your 5k to 7k.
Most guys could not survive that...JCB & Associates Thanks this. -
Perhaps you should revisit the how and way you're operating. Ask yourself are you operating your truck or just driving the truck. Not knowing your circumstances, at face value, it does appear there is much you can improve on. It appears as though you put much more value in your truck than the monetary return you receive. Otherwise, you could do at least 200 - 300 per week better as a company driver - depending on the company of course.
