I was wondering if anyone has put a 10r-9926 platinum kit into a 475 acert cat wich takes 10R-9925?
After reading and trying to figure out what is different in the kits and calling 12 different cat dealers. I found out that the injectors are different and pistons(17:1:1 ratio), also read online that the cam is different. So my question is if anyone has put the 625hp kit into a 475hp motor? Will it run fine?I have a PDI stage 1 tune in that truck.
cat mxs 475hp to 625hp?

I would call PDI and see what they know about it
-
Or how about Pittsburgh power
-
I wouldn't do it .
Everybody that I know that has owned a factory 625 has hated them. They suck fuel and not any better on power then a good 550 . Grass isn't always greener on the other side, stick to your regular 475/550 accert with a tune and be happy.
Just my opinion thou. -
Why not just put the industrial 16:1 packs in it, compression is not going to change the way the engine operates, it just helps make it more reliable.
The 625 does use a higher flowing injector. -
It all comes in the kit. I priced a kit thru a company account and I can get it for $10200 thru a KW dealer. That is the 10R-9926 kit. Will it run good with the stock cam?

Yes they will do fine....if running as acert with acert ECM....meaning actuators still functioning.....run it with the 550 file....not how I'd build one but it does work
